Six Authors. Six Stories. Six Weeks. A groundbreaking experiment in digital storytelling for Penguin Books.
We worked with six of Penguin’s top authors – Charles Cumming, Toby Litt, Kevin Brooks, Nicci French, Matt Mason, Mohsin Hamid, and a secret seventh author, Naomi Alderman – to create six online stories native to the web. Each story was completely original, ranging from thrillers to horror stories to fantasy, and each was also based upon a Penguin Classic – for example, The 21 Steps being inspired by ‘The 39 Steps’.
Winner of the SXSW Interactive Award for Best Experimental project and Best in Show in 2010.
Exhibited at MOMA (the Museum of Modern Art in New York) in the Talk to Me exhibition in 2011.
