Six to Start and Penguin win at SXSW Web Awards
Together with Penguin Books UK, we took home both the Experimental and Best of Show award categories at this year's SXSW Web Awards for We Tell Stories.
We were (somewhat) prepared for the possibility of winning in the Experimental category, but the Best of Show award took us completely by surprise. We Tell Stories was a complete team effort, and we'd like to thank:
- Jeremy Ettinghausen and Sam Binnie at Penguin
- Our "six" authors: Charles Cumming, Toby Litt, Kevin Brooks, Nicci French (Nicci Gerrard and Sean French), Matt Mason and Nicholas Felton, Mohsin Hamid, and Naomi Alderman
- Our developers: Ben Burry and Andrew Hayward
- Our game designers: Claire Bateman and James Wallis
- Site design: Richard Jones
It was absolutely fantastic to work on We Tell Stories, and we're sure that our next project, codenamed Ministry, is going to blow it out of the water.
